UrbanTurf is taking a break from its regularly planned editorial to make its readers aware of the opening of Momofuku Milk Bar.
Milk Bar is the bakery branch of the much talked about Momofuku empire. In a bit of a surprise, the DC outpost of Milk Bar opened its doors this morning at CityCenter (map).
Known for offering a variety of unbelievably tasty sweets, the bakery is the brainchild of Virginia-born Christina Tosi.
While UrbanTurf is excited about the opening of Milk Bar, minus the insane line that is surely forming as we type this, we are more excited about the flagship Momofuku opening up at CityCenter, which is expected to happen by the end of the year.
