Madison Investments is planning to convert a multi-family building at 2327-2331 15th St NW (map) into 30 luxury condos, the developer announced last week.
The building is near Meridian Hill Park and situated about halfway between the Columbia Heights and U Street Metro stations. The company is planning one- and two-bedroom units as well as a roof deck, garden and two penthouse units. PGN Architects will design the project, and TTR Sotheby’s International Realty will handle sales.
Madison has been aggressively targeting DC’s luxury condo market of late, which has been heating up thanks to low supply and increased demand. The firm is planning a 49-unit building in southeast Capitol Hill outfitted with larger condos and a 32-unit project in Logan Circle.
The building was purchased by Madison recently, and the tenants vacated the property prior to the sale.
