Washingtonian Magazine is famous for its restaurant coverage and one of its more popular issues is that which covers the best Cheap Eats in the area. If you are basing your home buying decision on where these inexpensive eateries are located, a local blogger has made your search a lot easier.
pete bakes, a local food blog run by 24-year old Peter Ryan, has mapped all 100 eateries in the issue on a Google Map.
The green tabs are places that Pete has been and liked, the yellow are restaurants that he has visited and may try again and the red tabs indicate places that he did not like. You will see that the map is dominated by blue tabs which are places that he has yet to visit.
One thing that this map makes clear is that if you are moving to the DC area for its cheap restaurant selection, you may want to look at homes outside DC proper.
