Prior to its completion later this summer, 2201 Pershing, a new 188-unit luxury apartment complex on Arlington Boulevard at Fort Myer, has begun lease-ups. The first of the two buildings at the new project will be completed in July. Thirty-four different apartment floor plans will be offered, ranging in size from 629 to 1,440 square feet and rents will start around $1,810 a month.
2201 Pershing (map) will have the amenity package that most new apartment projects come with these days (24-hour concierge, clubroom, fitness center, and media/theater room), but it will also have a two-level elevated courtyard with a fire pit, outdoor kitchen and grill area, cabanas, and an outdoor movie theater wall. There will also be an outdoor pool deck.
Pets are allowed, but as is the growing trend for new residential projects in the region, the building will be 100 percent smoke-free.
