This week’s “If I Had $1.5 Million” listing is a 4,000 square-foot, restored 1920s farmhouse in Arlington. We admit that we are unabashedly big fans of this property for a number of reasons. First, it has a deep wrap-around porch and a courtyard with a fountain that together provide a great venue for entertaining. Second, a significant renovation was completed on the home in 2008 and, among other things, it now has a large chef’s kitchen with Viking appliances, a six-burner gas range, a wine cooler, two refrigerators and a wet bar. Lastly, the bedrooms upstairs offer more space per room than you can find anywhere in DC proper (in a similar price point), particularly the master bedroom which has wide plank floors, a walk-in closet, a gas fireplace and a private balcony that overlooks the courtyard. More details and photos below.
- Address: 2805 7th Street, Arlington, VA (see map here)
- Price: $1.75 Million
- Bedrooms: Four
- Bathrooms: Four
- Year Built: 1920
