Final Sales Push at Victoria Condo on Meridian Hill
High up on Chapin Street NW near Meridian Hill Park and tucked just away from the hustle of 14th and U Streets, is a brand new condominium: Victoria. Victoria Condominium is in its final phase of sales with only five of the sixteen residences remaining for sale. The Victoria community features unique, space-saving floor plans, including mostly single-level flats and four double-level penthouses. Just two flats and three penthouses remain on the market, for immediate purchase and move-in.
Victoria is located at 1443 Chapin Street NW (map), on the east side of Meridian Hill Park. Chapin Street is a quiet, one-way, residential street that is situated at one of the city’s highest points. This affords residents both privacy and spectacular views of the city from Victoria’s numerous balconies and terraces.
As a result of the building’s unique C-shaped design, Victoria residences get an abundance of natural light, and several of the homes include 18-foot ceilings and large floor-to-ceiling windows.
Living spaces are modern, impeccably finished and feature advanced technology like self-programming Nest Thermostats and Nest Protect smoke detectors, controllable with a smartphone. Residences also sport pocket doors, custom-built elfa walk-in closets, hardwood flooring and full-size washer/dryers.
The kitchens at Victoria feature custom shelving, quartz waterfall islands, double wall ovens and 42-inch, two-tone wood cabinets topped by 16 inches of glass-front, LED-lit cabinetry. Bathrooms include frameless glass showers, extra-deep soaking tubs and double sinks.
“Victoria has ultimate convenience in location, well thought-out design elements, and stunning interior finishes,” says President Lynn Hackney of Urban Pace, the firm handling sales for Victoria.
The remaining flats, one of which has a large private patio, measure around 900 square feet and are priced at $569,000 and $599,900. Remaining penthouse residences include two-bedroom plus den homes priced at $849,900 and $999,900. The final penthouse is a one-bedroom plus den residence priced at $699,900.
Victoria has underground parking for residents, serviced by an elevator to all floors, with direct access from the garage to each of the residential levels, as well as secure and convenient storage for bicycles and strollers. The building is walking distance to the U Street Metro Station, as well as to some of the city’s best restaurants (Barcelona, Tico, Ghibellina), bars (Pearl Dive, Bar Pilar) grocery stores (Streets Market, Trader Joe’s, Yes! Organic) and fitness centers (Cross Fit, Vita, Elevate).
