UrbanTurf does not like to wave an unattainable carrot in the face of its readers, but we frankly started writing about this unit before it went under contract, and think that it is still worthy of a mention in this column. This two-bedroom unit in Columbia Heights is a short sale that must’ve caught the eye of a buyer in the last two days. Originally listed for $630,000 back in October, this condo has seen a significant price drop in the last three months, dropping all the way to $450,000 on January 6th. In addition to a 500 square-foot patio with a retractable roof and hot tub, this unit has a large living room, fireplace, built-in speakers, two large bedrooms and a garage parking spot big enough for two cars.
