One of DC's more interesting looking homes has found a buyer.
1452 Foxhall Road NW (map), dubbed The Narrow House when UrbanTurf featured it two years ago, went under contract this past weekend at a list price just below $2 million. Sina Mollaan and Margaret Babbington of Compass represented the seller.

Designed by current owner Dr. Djahanguir Darvish, The Narrow House lives up to its name: it rises three stories and is just 18 feet wide. The home was constructed in 1985 around a small red house at the address, the remnants of which can be seen in the red walls of the home.
The three-bedroom listing is filled with interesting curves and angles given its unique design and layout. One of UrbanTurf's favorite areas is the back room that has floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides and lives like a patio.
While the Foxhall house is indeed narrow, it is not the tightest that UrbanTurf has seen in the city. Eleven years ago, we covered a Georgetown home that measured at just 8 feet across.
