Life in quarantine has, for many, revealed the need for truly spacious, ultra-comfortable homes. For DC renters, The Residences at Eastern Market is answering that call.
The apartment collection is located at the heart of one of Capitol Hill's most beloved destinations and is among the few apartment properties in the city to offer oversized, luxury homes for rent.
A handful of one-bedroom and den, two-bedroom and three-bedrooms homes—ranging in size from 900 square feet to a sprawling 2,300 square feet—are currently available. All of the homes come with an array of high-end features and finishes, and the property is now offering a variety of packages that will both simplify and sweeten a move (see more below).
Apartment hunters will be hard-pressed to find comparable finishes in the DC apartment market.
Homes at The Residences at Eastern Market have a light, versatile palette and feature hardwood oak floors, Bosch appliances and gas cooking, Caesarstone countertops, pull-out pantries, Waterworks Studios bathroom fixtures, and customizable elfa® system closets. Each home also features its own ventilation with fresh air replacement, and select floorplans have laundry rooms with custom shelving, double bathroom vanities and built-in desks.
In addition to generous interior floorplans, many of the currently available apartments have balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the heart of Eastern Market, dual views of the neighborhood and the courtyard or, for two remaining units, views of the Capitol.
The Residences at Eastern Market boast a host of top of the line in-house amenities, including two immaculately appointed lobbies; three roof decks with a heated rooftop pool (for year round use); an outdoor courtyard with café tables and fire pits; three lounges, including a library lounge with a borrowable book collection; a 24-hour fitness center with Peloton Bikes and SKILLMILL treadmills; a conference room and business center; and a 24-hour concierge that provides everything from in-home package delivery and complimentary art/TV hanging to pet feeding services while residents are away.
The on-site businesses are equally as impressive as the amenities. In addition to Trader Joe's and a soon-to-open STEM Preschool, the offerings include Turning Natural juicery, Moorenko Ice Cream and an elegant new restaurant called the Duck & the Peach. In addition, an Italian restaurant (La Collina) and gin bar (The Wells) will open in the spring, and the immediate Eastern Market neighborhood is already home to tons of new and established businesses.
The Residences at Eastern Market has a number of event-friendly spaces, including a large outdoor plaza. The property hosts as many as fifteen socially distanced events per month, including first Saturday's champagne brunch, weekly fitness classes, cooking classes and Wine Down Wednesday.
Current move-in offers include a unique move-in package, that turns moving into a seamless and luxurious process complete with personal shoppers, packing and unpacking services to help you get settled. For 12+ month leases on two- and three-bedroom homes, the property is also offering one of the following: a Peloton or Mirror with one year membership, valued at $3,000; custom Blinds from The Shade Store, valued at $3,500; or a refined furniture package from Blue Dot, valued up to $4,150.
