The Capitol Riverfront BID has published a summary of development in the Capitol Riverfront, as of the first quarter of 2009. With the completion of 909 at Capitol Yards and EYA’s first phase of the Capitol Quarter townhomes, there are now over 2,000 residential units in the neighborhood. See a full chart of statistics below.

According to the BID, more than half of the residential units have been leased or sold, and the current population in the neighborhood is 1,584. This number is on pace with BID estimates which projected that by the end of 2009, the number of residents will be approaching 2,000. By the time all projects are complete, estimates are that the area population will be over 18,000.
