In this week’s Best New Listings, we focus on the Mount Pleasant neighborhood where we find a three-bedroom condo with outdoor space and parking, a fairly low-priced 1,000 square-foot two-bedroom unit and a large four-bedroom home that could use just one more bathroom.
Three-Bedroom Condo With Outdoor Space and Parking

3365 18th Street NW, Unit C (map)
Tucked away on 18th Street in Mount Pleasant, this three-bedroom condo is on two levels with a large kitchen and very bright living and dining area as well as an enormous turreted master bedroom. The unit also has two outdoor spaces — a smaller balcony and a large outdoor deck area — and there is one assigned parking space in back. For the full listing, click here.
1,000 Square-Foot Two-Bedroom for Under $400K

1651 Lamont Street NW, #2B (map)
Located just around the corner from neighborhood watering hole Tonic, this two-bedroom condo seems almost too good to be true. At 1,000 square feet with a parking space, the $399,000 price tag is very attractive. While its new floors and finishes may not have the character of a lot of the other units in the neighborhood, the fee on this unit is pretty low and a good deal for anyone looking for a low-priced two-bedroom. Four-Bedroom Town House With Great Landscaped Rear Patio

1805 Irving Street NW (map)
This four-bedroom, 22-foot wide town house is the property type that the Mount Pleasant neighborhood is known for. In addition to an enormous dining room and a great back patio made for bbqs, the house has a large master bedroom and a loft-like office space on the third floor. The downside to the home is that it only has 1.5 bathrooms, so in order to make this fit for a family, the eventual owner will likely need to install one more bathroom.
