Best New Listings: Eckington and Del Ray
This week’s Best New Listings include a renovated two-bedroom condo in Eckington and a four-bedroom arts and crafts home a block from The Avenue in Del Ray.
Renovated Two-Bedroom Condo in Eckington
301 Seaton Place NE, #3 (map)
This renovated two-bedroom condo is priced very competitively for a unit this size in DC. Part of a new complex in Eckington, the unit has renovated oak floors, a new gourmet kitchen and bathroom, and an in-unit washer/dryer. FHA approval is pending for the building and closing assistance is being offered to select buyers. While some may complain about the location, the unit is fairly close to the New York Avenue Metro on the Red Line. For the full listing, click here.
Four-Bedroom Arts and Crafts A Block From The Avenue in Del Ray
18 East Howell Avenue, Alexandria, VA (map)
Sitting just about a block off The Avenue in Del Ray, this four-bedroom arts and crafts home was formerly just a small bungalow that was completely revamped in 2005. The home now has a wide open floor plan with skylights and exposed fir beams that criss cross the two-story ceiling in the living room, as well as a wood-burning fireplace, a custom staircase and a gourmet kitchen. Our favorite part of the house is the study that is attached to the master bedroom. For the full listing, click here.
