One of the priciest homes on the market in the DC region also offers some of the best views.
6699 MacArthur Boulevard was listed today for $17.5 million with The Roth Team at Washington Fine Properties.
The six-bedroom, ten-bath Bethesda home spreads out over 13,000 square feet, but it is the expansive views of the Potomac River that make it stand out from other properties.
Sited well above the banks of the river, the home offers views up and down the Potomac for miles in both directions. Custom built by CDC Builders, the house has handscraped white oak heated floors throughout, a wine cellar and tasting room made out of reclaimed barn wood, and the marble slab that creates the kitchen island is the largest CDC has ever made.

A variety of aspects of the home were sourced from interesting sites around the world. The floors in the foyer were reclaimed from an old movie theater in New York, the fireplace mantels were imported from Italy, and the shutters were custom made in Montana. The home also has a gym and a heated pool which, naturally, overlooks the Potomac.
