Remember the luxury loft on 18th Street in Adams Morgan that we wrote about in December? UrbanTurf just got word that it’s price has been reduced $750,000 from $2.7 million, making it just under $2 million at $526 per square foot. Here is what we wrote about the one-of-a-kind property a few months ago:
Listed for $2.7 million, [the loft] is a 3,800 square-foot, three-floor industrial space that has a living area big enough to throw around a football. There are 14-foot ceilings, two bedrooms, a private deck on the second floor, a roof deck with downtown views and a garage parking space. The concrete floors and exposed ductwork reinforce the unit’s industrial feel. Because the unit is at the back of the development, it remains relatively immune from the weekend noise coming from 18th Street.
The loft is a true industrial loft, the likes of which are rare in DC where “loft-like” is commonly used to describe property but usually a misnomer.
