The home features a split-level open living and dining room which flows into an updated kitchen with plenty of cabinetry space. There is additional living space just up a short flight of stairs. All three bedrooms are spacious and out back there is a brick terrace that can be converted into parking.

This Brookland listing had the price tag and square footage of a one-bedroom unit in DC, but a room off the living area that could be used as a bedroom or as a nursery makes it a two-bedroom. Naturally, a bidding war ensued and the home ended up selling for $25,000 above its asking price.
