$100 More For a Bright Townhouse on the Hill

This Capitol Hill home catches the eye with an exterior that is soft yellow with a pastel green trim. That, along with a number of original features inside, resulted in the home selling for a mere $100 above its original list price. The rowhouse was listed for $899,900 and sold for $900,000 in just six days.

It fetched $4,500 above its asking price after about a week on the market.

When we wrote about this three-bedroom condo just past Meridian Hill Park, we indicated that it looked like a deal, and someone agreed as it went under contract in just six days. The home has tall ceilings and an open floorplan on the first level, allowing windows and glass doors to light up the entire floor. It sold for $36,000 above its original list price.
