For 2019's inaugural edition of Above Asking, UrbanTurf revisits three listings -- two in Takoma Park and a million-dollar listing in Glover Park -- that sold for $5,000-$57,000 over asking price.

Above Adjusted Asking Price in Takoma Park

Although initially listed for $900,000, the price on this Takoma Park bungalow was dropped by $25,000 almost a month later, then ultimately sold at a $5,000 premium. The living room and formal dining area of the home share diagonal hardwood flooring and are separated by a partial partition wall. The U-shaped kitchen has tiled flooring, an integrated stovetop and oven, and a breakfast bar. The uppermost level houses the expansive owner's suite, which has a vaulted ceiling with two skylights and a den just on the other side of an archway. The lower level is licensed as a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment.
