$12,000 Above Asking for Frank Lloyd Wright Inspiration
This Bethesda three-bedroom has a bright, contemporary style that combines angular spaces, wood paneling and expansive windows in an ode to Frank Lloyd Wright. The living room has nearly a full wall of windows, a built-in bench bisected by a shelving unit, and a recessed fireplace next to a dining nook, with hardwood flooring complementing wood-paneled walls. A sunroom also has wood-paneled walls and slate tile floors, with a fireplace recessed into a brick accent wall. The owner's bedroom has triple exposure and a built-in dresser, while the other bedrooms and a lower level bonus room also have built-in shelving, dressers and/or cabinets. The home recently sold for $12,000 above asking price.

French doors in the bright formal dining room open onto a sunroom-like enclosed porch, currently styled as a breakfast room. The three bedrooms are located on the upper level, and the owner's bedroom has both a sitting room and a sleeping room, one of which also has an abundance of windows that lend it a sunroom-like aesthetic. The spacious lower level offers a rec room and full bath, and the house also has a deep, bi-level fenced-in rear yard with parking pad and lower level patio.
