$130,000 Above Asking for a Tudor Home
This University Park Tudor spent less than two days on the market before finding a buyer, and ultimately sold for a $130,000 premium. The three-bedroom listing has both a sunroom with radiant floor heat and a screened porch, which lead out to the backyard on the main level. The property sits on a little under half an acre and has a number of established trees, providing some privacy from neighbors. All three bedrooms can be found on the top floor, two of which are connected by a jack and jill bathroom. The home comes with a separate two-car garage.

More Than $200,000 Above for a Yellow Takoma Park Bungalow
This four-bedroom bungalow was recently renovated, but was originally part of the Sears mail-order home project. The combination resulted in some fierce competition for the listing, and it ultimately sold for $211,000 above asking. As a focal point, the living room has vaulted ceilings, large windows, a fireplace and an exit point to the deck. The adjacent kitchen includes a built-in wine fridge, white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry. The primary bathroom has a walk-in closet, dual vanity, heated floors and a frameless glass waterfall shower. One of UrbanTurf's favorite aspects of the home is the basement living area, which includes a minibar setup and a built-in entertainment center. A stone path snakes around the home - connecting the front and back yards.
