The housing market in the DC region has slowed from its feverish pace of the last few years, but there are still many places where homes are selling quickly. Today, UrbanTurf looks at exactly where that is happening in DC proper.
Using median days on market data for zip codes around DC, we highlighted where homes have been selling the fastest in 2022. In the current market, homes are selling in nine days or less in eight zip codes in various sections of the city.

Leading the way is the 20015 zip code (home to Barnaby Woods, Hawthorne and Chevy Chase DC) where homes are coming off the market on median in six days.
Following closely behind with a median of eight days, are the following zip codes:
- 20012 -- Home to portions of the Colonial Village, Shepherd Park, and Takoma neighborhoods.
- 20003 -- The main Capitol Hill zip code.
- 20017 -- The zip code that encompasses parts of Brookland and Michigan Park.
- 20016 -- Home to AU Park, Tenleytown, Spring Valley and other upper NW neighborhoods.
Rounding out the list are three zip codes where homes are selling just slightly slower than those above - 20007 (Georgetown, Burleith), 20011 (Crestwood, 16th Street Heights) and 20018 (Brentwood, Langdon, Woodridge).
