The Langford Creek Farm in Chestertown hit the market on Tuesday with TTR Sotheby's International Realty. The $10 million price tag is not for the residential properties on-site -- a three-bedroom farmhouse and two barns -- but rather for the space that the eventual buyer will have to spread out.
The farm is the oldest second growth forest on the Eastern Shore and covers more than 790 acres, of which more than 500 acres are mature forest. There are 13 separate parcels, including a second waterfront home site, as well as several ponds. The shoreline runs for four miles along the edge of the property.
