A luxury residence at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown with over 6,100 square feet of interior living area and 3,000 square feet of outdoor terrace space sold for $8 million at the beginning of February, making it the priciest re-sale condo to ever sell in DC.

The condo was custom-built for the original owners. In addition to terraces that open from almost every room, the unit comes with an exercise room and four valet parking spaces. There is a master suite with two dressing areas, and three additional bedrooms. The roof terrace has views from Key Bridge to the Kennedy Center.

A view of Arlington from the terrace.
The penthouse has access to the building’s 24-hour concierge as well as a host of the Ritz-Carlton’s hotel amenities. The unit was privately listed by Christopher Ritzert and Christie-Anne Weiss of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
This condo sale comes in just behind the sale of an $8.4 million unit at Woodley Park's Wardman Tower that closed last year.
