Multifamily and office mixed-use developments are not the only projects in the works in Arlington County.
BeaconCrest Homes has filed a preliminary development application with Arlington County to deliver seven townhouses at 1731 N Veitch Street (map). The site is currently an open space in the Colonial Village community and already has a single-family home in place, which would be razed for the new development.
The four-story townhouses would each have at least three bedrooms, some with dens, finished attics and loft areas, along with rear balconies and an interior two-car garage. As the site is split-zoned between the RA8-18 and RA7-16 districts, the application would rezone the portion of the site at 1700 N Uhle Street to the former designation.
The development would also add three on-street parking spaces to the immediate area. Pinnacle Design & Consulting is the architect.
