Maybe it was the quality of the renovation, the deep backyard or it just could’ve been priced well below what it warranted. Any one of these things could’ve led to this renovated three-bedroom in Bloomingdale selling for $120,000 above its original asking price.
The row house near the eastern edge of LeDroit Park has a wonderfully-designed small kitchen, with a tucked-away bar-height breakfast nook, a first floor with lots of entertaining space, and a finished basement outfitted with a mannequin in the listing photos. The home also has a deep backyard with a deck and a stone path leading in from a parking pad.
The home hit the market on a Thursday in mid-July and was under contract by the following Tuesday. From what we hear, there were a number of interested parties. Listed for $729,900, the home closed for $850,000 last week.
