Furnish Your Home With UrbanTurf’s Help
It’s been awhile since UrbanTurf ran a contest or giveaway, so we figured it was time to show some appreciation to our readers and give away something nice. (And this contest won't require you schlepping all over town.)
UrbanTurf readers not only spend a lot of time looking at residential real estate, but also perusing/wasting time at various local furniture stores figuring out ways to outfit their homes. So we thought a $500 giveaway for one of these stores would be the ideal way to start spring for a lucky reader out there. Problem is, we couldn’t decide on a single "best" store, so we are letting the winner pick from among four of our favorites:
- CB2, Crate & Barrel's kid sister in Georgetown that caters to urban dwellers short on space.
- Miss Pixie’s, the seller of secondhand "furnishings and whatnot" behind the pink facade on 14th Street in Logan Circle.
- Room & Board, the Minnesota-based purveyor of classic modern, also on 14th Street.
- GoodWood, the vintage-y furniture and funky home decor shop on U Street.
Entering the giveaway couldn't be much easier:
- Like our Facebook page.
- Enter your name and email address for notification purposes (takes 15, maybe 20 seconds).
- There is no third step.
The giveaway will run for the next few weeks, and we will be announcing the winner in early April. Have at it!
