In this week’s installment of What X Buys You, we look at the $749,000 price point and find a four-bedroom row house with a rental unit in Mount Pleasant. The home was renovated in 2003 and has a great main floor with a fireplace in the living room, a dining room and a new kitchen in back. The three bedrooms on the second floor are all rather small, perhaps the only drawback to the house. The lower level unit could provide some great rental income (has certificate of occupancy) because as Mount Pleasant has risen in popularity, so has the neighborhood’s rental rate.
