For this week's Under Contract, UrbanTurf revisits three recently-featured listings, including two in Takoma Park, that found buyers in the last week.
Under Contract in a Month in Bloomingdale
Just around the corner from Bloomingdale's main drag, this renovated Victorian rowhouse retains its original charm. The original trim matches the hardwood floors framing the interior of the main level. The living room at the front of the house contains a bay window and angled, tiled fireplace with columns and built-in mirror. The galley kitchen and adjacent breakfast nook share tiled floors and are only separated by a pass-through window. The back door in the breakfast nook leads out to the landing of a split-level rear deck and red brick-paved patio. The owner's bedroom also enjoys the bay window, along with a skylit walk-in closet with built-in shelving and ladder. This home found a buyer in just over a month.

40 Days for Bungalow and Apartment
Just inside the Maryland border, this bungalow was on the market for 40 days before going under contract. The front of the Takoma Park house features a wide front porch with bench swing. The open living room takes up the front half of the house on the main level, giving way to the formal dining room just past a partial partition. The U-shaped configuration of the kitchen creates a generous amount of counter space alongside an integrated stovetop and oven and a breakfast bar. The uppermost level of the house serves as the expansive owner's suite beneath a vaulted ceiling and two skylights; a den also sits on the other side of an archway in the suite. Additionally, the lower level is licensed as a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, where another kitchen with integrated cooktop beneath a hood overlooks the living room with nearly floor-to-ceiling windows flanking a door to the side yard.

Nine Days for Sligo Creek Hilltop House
Less pricey and more secluded than the previous Takoma Park listing, this three-bedroom ranch house sits perched above Sligo Creek. A spacious wrap-around deck/porch leads to the front door of the house, while just inside, a wall of built-ins greets entrants to the foyer area. To the right, the family room nook has a built-in entertainment console and stepped white brick fireplace between windows and built-in cabinets. While the adjacent dining area has a built-in buffet, the bright kitchen beyond has a bean-shaped breakfast bar at one end of the counter and an integrated oven and stovetop on the other, as well as a quartet of stacked windows above the sink. An office attached to the owner's suite has a wall of built-ins and six windows that meet at the far corner of the room. A terraced, woodsy backyard stretches out from behind a white stepped retaining wall. This listing found a buyer in a little over a week.
