A Six-Day Turnaround for Turretted Rowhouse

Located in Eckington, this turreted rowhouse spent the fewest days on the market in this week's Under Contract, with an offer being accepted in six days. The property has undergone a complete custom remodel that lends the interior a distinct contemporary vibe, beginning with the shiplap-lined entryway with a perpendicular wall-bench. The living room has a half-moon bay window and is centered around a slick wood-paneled media console with an integrated gas fireplace. Up the skylit open-tread wooden staircase, the master bedroom also enjoys the half-moon bay window and has a color-blocked exposed brick accent wall. Another bedroom has access to a terrace with stairs to the ground-floor deck, which is just beyond the wide galley kitchen with sage green subway-tiled backsplash on both walls. The house also has a one-bed, one-bath English basement.

Nine Days in Near Northeast

This renovated Near Northeast rowhouse found a buyer in just over a week and has a modernized-traditional aesthetic. Inlayed borders in the hardwood flooring delineate the rooms on the open-concept main level, where an angled fireplace anchors the living room and a standalone doorway creates a segue to the dining room. Whitewashed exposed brick runs along the stairway up to a skylit landing, where all the bedroom doors have transom windows. The second story has two spacious en-suites, each with a huge picture window: one with a near double-height ceiling and exposed brick accent walls, and the other with a separate sitting area with exposed brick accent wall. A rear deck is just off of a sunroom on the ground level. The Victorian dwelling is another with a one-bedroom English basement with separate C of O.
