Seattle does it again.
Curbed National has scoured the one-bedroom properties currently for sale across the country, and found the most expensive offerings. Taking a look at these may put your mind at ease if you are lamenting how much one-bedroom units cost in the District these days.
Naturally, the most expensive one-bedroom property out there right now is a Fifth Avenue co-op that looks like it was decorated by Pete Campbell’s wife (weekly Mad Men reference). It is currently listed for $6,950,000.
Our favorite high-priced option is a 2,000 square-foot Seattle residence that has 19-foot ceilings, huge windows and a 500 square-foot wrap-around patio all for just $3 million.
DC could’ve made the list as well. Currently, the most expensive one-bedroom unit on the market is a 2,230 square-foot property at the Watergate listed for $1,699,000. It has been on the market for 669 days, according to Redfin. The $3,993 monthly co-op fee might be factoring in to why it is not selling.
