DC Metrocentric is reporting via the-thes, a Bethesda-based blog, that the planning board in Montgomery County recently decided to place a moratorium on the building of homes in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area.
The reason: a projected school overcrowding in a number of area high schools by 2014.
The moratorium will be in place for one year, and those projects already underway will not be affected.
