Inside the British Embassy by Mike McCaffrey
On Saturday, May 2, Cultural Tourism DC is hosting Passport DC Open House, a series of tours at more than 30 foreign embassies in the city. For all the times that you have driven down Massachusetts Avenue and wondered what the inside of those big houses look like, this is your chance to take a peek.
Cultural Tourism DC will provide free shuttles from 10am to 4pm on May 2. Three shuttles will leave from 1900 Massachusetts Avenue NW and will loop Massachusetts Avenue, Connecticut Avenue, and lower New Hampshire Avenue.
For a full list of the embassies that will be open as well as a map, click here.
This post may seem out of character for UrbanTurf’s normal content, but we should remind you that embassies in the city have been converted to residences in years past.
