HUD, FHFA Suspend all Foreclosures and Evictions Through April

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take its toll, the White House has announced a federal relief option that some jurisdictions have already begun adopting: a moratorium on public housing evictions.
At a Wednesday briefing, Donald Trump announced that the Department of Housing and Urban Development is suspending foreclosures and evictions at HUD-subsidized housing through the end of April.

Simultaneously, there are other federal relief efforts underway in the executive and legislative branches to push through some sort of stimulus aid to carry people over amid lockdowns and layoffs.
Update: Shortly after Trump announced the HUD eviction and foreclosure moratorium, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to suspend foreclosures and evictions for at least 60 days.
