For the entrepreneur looking to soak up some Amazon inspiration, the house where the technology company was born has hit the market.
Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in West Bellevue, Washington, the ranch house at 10704 NE 28th Street (map) is the home where Jeff Bezos launched Amazon in a garage in the early 1990s.
Bezos rented the 1,540 square-foot house in 1994. At the time, the property was worth $135,000; it is currently listed for $1,488,888.

A 2001 remodel created an expansive great room with 13 foot-tall vaulted pine ceilings and a handful of skylights, and the house also has ample yard space and a detached shed along with the garage where Amazon was built.
Bezos' real estate portfolio has grown with his fortune. The Amazon founder is still at work remodeling and restoring his Kalorama house(s), purchased for more than 15 times what this Washington home is worth.
