Delivered in 2015, the 11-story building contains 310 apartments and 19,000 square feet of commercial space, including a Landmark movie theatre. The penthouse already has indoor/outdoor amenity space for its residents. If approved, the special exception would allow 957 square feet of this amenity space to be converted into a bar/lounge for residents and their guests.
A Board of Zoning Adjustment hearing is scheduled for late March, and the applicants will also need to acquire a liquor license. The building was designed by Morris Adjmi Architects; Eric Colbert and Associates is the architect of record. The third building Atlantic Plumbing building is also scheduled to deliver this year.
