Yale West Apartments To Begin Leasing Next Week
Yale West
Yale West Apartments, the rental project that has been rising next door to Yale Steam Laundry on New York Avenue (map), is now complete and leasing will begin this coming Monday.
Yale West is the second phase of the Yale Steam Laundry complex, formerly one of the largest steam laundries in the city. The 216-unit rental project joins a 146-unit condo project next door that was completed back in 2009. Construction on Yale West started in January of last year, after a loan from HUD got the project moving forward.
Salt water pool
Studios in the new building start at $1,870/month, one-bedrooms at $2,160 and two-bedrooms at $2,950, and the complex is offering one month free rent on 12-month leases. The building has some pretty cool takes on modern amenities, including a salt water pool on the roof.
