Whole Foods Coming to Foggy Bottom

In news that makes Foggy Bottom a more attractive neighborhood to many home buyers, Bisnow is reporting that Whole Foods has signed on to open a store at 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW (map).
The commercial real estate newsletter reported that the high-end (read: expensive) grocery store has signed a lease for 38,000 square feet at The Avenue building located at 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
Rumors have been swirling that Whole Foods was coming to the space for a few months now. No additional news was given as far as a possible opening date.
