The Best New Listings in the DC Area
This week’s best new listings include a two-bedroom loft at one of our favorite buildings in DC, a one-bedroom condo in Petworth with low fees and a brand-new kitchen and a four-bedroom Wardman-style home in 16th Street Heights.
Two-Bedroom Unit at Rainbow Lofts in Logan Circle
1445 Church Street NW, #34 (see map here)
This two-bedroom, two-bath loft residence is in the former Rainbow Auto Body Shop building (now Rainbow Lofts) in Logan Circle. We are unabashedly big fans of this building (we wrote about it not too long ago), and love the fact that most units have 13-foot ceilings and the original masonry. This unit also features maple floors throughout, a gas fireplace, huge industrial windows with motorized shades and a large gourmet kitchen with lava stone counters. Just a few steps from the neighborhood’s Whole Foods, the loft also comes with a parking space. For the full listing, click here.
One-Bedroom Condo in Petworth with Low Condo Fees and New Kitchen
4010 Kansas Avenue NW, #2 (see map here)
It is debatable whether this one-bedroom plus den condo is in Columbia Heights or Petworth, but for the purpose of this story we’re going with Petworth. As we noted in the title, the kitchen is new, but the bedroom is also large and gets a lot of light and there is a den that could serve as a home office. The property also has a rear deck, a large backyard and parking spaces for two cars. For the full listing, click here.
Four-Bedroom Classic Wardman Home in 16th Street Heights
4209 16th Street NW (see map here)
According to the listing, this four-bedroom Wardman-style home was “treated to a very faithful restoration that is true to its original sensibility.” The home has four full bathrooms to go along with the bedrooms as well as a gas fireplace, a renovated kitchen, and a finished lower level that has an additional kitchen. The property also comes with a two-car garage. For the full listing, click here.
