Google Announces Tool To Figure Out Best Solar Plan For Your Home
Google just unveiled a way to figure out the best solar panel plan for your home.
On Monday, Project Sunroof launched, a tool that uses Google’s vast resources to “calculate the best solar plan for you.”

Users enter in their property address and information about their electricity bill and then Project Sunroof recommends the appropriate size for the solar panel installation and the cost, whether you decide to purchase or lease the equipment.
“Project Sunroof uses current solar industry pricing data to run the numbers on leasing, taking a loan, or buying solar panels for your house to help you choose what’s best for you,” according to the Project Sunroof site.
Unfortunately, DC property owners will have to be patient. Project Sunroof is only operating in the San Francisco, Fresno and Boston areas currently.
