The Price to Live in a Long Beach Pool House Revealed

by Mark Wellborn

Last Friday, we asked readers to guess the price of a three-bedroom single-level home with a pool 45 minutes south of Los Angeles in Long Beach. Here is a brief description of the property for those that missed the post:

“The defining characteristic of this home is the pool, which is uniquely designed in the center of the property and features an island with a Bonsai-shaped pine. The house itself measures out at almost 1,400 square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are seven skylights throughout the property, a large living room wired for surround sound, and a one-car garage.”

Take a look:

So how much would you have to plunk down for this little pool house? The price: $595,000. Here is the listing.

The guesses ranged from a low of $610,000 to a high of $1.3 million. Because everyone overshot the actual price, we are not going to name a winner for this week. Better luck next time.

By the way, a one-way airplane ticket from DC to Long Beach is currently about $170.

What part of Long Beach is this in? Is it North Long Beach, Bixby Knolls???  My guess would depend on the neighborhood.

Kevin, the address is 7215 E Premium St (so it’s gotta be a great neighborhood, right?)

Sheds and Gazebos is no longer Considered as just a shed or Gazebo with just a little creativity you can design them to look like a Pool House, Cabana,  Garden shed or just a little get away in the backyard for an additional space . You can run utilities to them just like an addition to your house and use as a office space.  But always check with you local building codes before you start you project.
