Last Friday, we asked readers to guess the price of a three-bedroom single-level home with a pool 45 minutes south of Los Angeles in Long Beach. Here is a brief description of the property for those that missed the post:
“The defining characteristic of this home is the pool, which is uniquely designed in the center of the property and features an island with a Bonsai-shaped pine. The house itself measures out at almost 1,400 square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are seven skylights throughout the property, a large living room wired for surround sound, and a one-car garage.”
Take a look:
So how much would you have to plunk down for this little pool house? The price: $595,000. Here is the listing.
The guesses ranged from a low of $610,000 to a high of $1.3 million. Because everyone overshot the actual price, we are not going to name a winner for this week. Better luck next time.
By the way, a one-way airplane ticket from DC to Long Beach is currently about $170.
