This week’s best new listings include a beautiful two-bedroom condo in Logan Circle with a private terrace, a renovated three-bedroom row house in Columbia Heights and a two-bedroom starter home in Takoma Park.

Beautiful Two-Bedroom Condo in Logan Circle with Private Terrace

image

1341 Q Street NW, Unit A (see map here)

  • Price: $599,000
  • Bedrooms: Two
  • Bathrooms: Two
  • Condo Fees: $225
  • Year Built: 1905

This two-bedroom condo in Logan Circle makes us wish that we could put together a 20 percent down payment on a $600K property in the next seven days. The unit, which we imagine will be under contract by week’s end, has a spacious living and dining area that is adjacent to a kitchen with a long breakfast bar. The unit has hardwood floors throughout, high ceilings, two fireplaces and a large master bedroom. There is also a 200 square-foot outdoor rear terrace as well as an off-street parking space. Renovated Three-Bedroom Row House in Columbia Heights

1348 Perry Place NW (see map here)

  • Price: $595,000
  • Bedrooms: Three
  • Bathrooms: Three
  • Square Footage: 1,770
  • Price per SF: $336
  • Year Built: 1911

This three-bedroom home in Columbia Heights sits on a block with some of the neighborhood’s nicest row houses. The main level measures almost 600 square feet and features a combined living room, kitchen and dining space. Both master bedrooms on the second floor have their own bathroom and walk-in closet. The fully finished basement has a third bedroom and a recreation room. There are parking spaces for two cars, and a rear deck area. For the full listing, click here.

Two-Bedroom “Starter” Home in Takoma Park

image

1105 Lancaster Road, Takoma Park, MD (see map here)

  • Price: $345,000
  • Bedrooms: Two
  • Bathrooms: One
  • Square Footage (Lot): 5,500
  • Year Built: 1940

This two-bedroom colonial in Takoma Park is the perfect starter home for a young couple. Nothing in the home is very big, but the living room, dining room and kitchen are cozy and open, and make for a comfortable living space. The home has a small screened porch and a large backyard and garden area. For a buyer that is not in the market for a condo, this is a good alternative. For the full listing, click here.

the logan property (or one identical…next door?) has been on and off market several times. they paid 580k in 2006. the assessment has dropped (haven’t they all) for the last two years. and it’s not a two bedroom, as the definition (legally) of a bedroom is door to hallway (has), closet (nope) and window (umm…no).
