Sponsored: Boutique Condo Selling Fast at 16th and U
A boutique condominium project started selling at 16th and U Streets NW just last week, and with three units already under contract, it appears to have the right combination of great location and prices to sell quickly.
"We had the first open house on August 1st, and 30 people came," said Erin Hundley of UrbanLand Company, the firm selling the building. "We're seeing lots of traffic from agents, and we have some more serious buyers circling."
Durant Manor is located at 1929 16th Street NW (map), right where the neighborhoods of U Street and Dupont Circle intersect. It is a mid-rise 1922 Victorian that has been redeveloped into eight units -- six one-bedrooms and two two-bedrooms. The units have been completely renovated and feature exposed brick, new hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances, as well as many of the building's original details (note the trim in the photo below). The front-facing units offer great views of 16th Street, while the back-facing units sport balconies large enough for a small table and chairs.
Of the remaining five units, one is a two-bedroom and four are one-bedrooms. Two of the one-bedrooms face the front and two face the back.
There is an open house this Sunday (8/22) from 1 to 5pm. Any questions in the meantime should be directed to Erin Hundley at 317.430.0866 or ehundley@urbanlandcompany.com.
