Madison Investments’ new residential project at 2914 Sherman Avenue NW (map) is moving forward, and UrbanTurf has a few new details.
Since we last reported on the project, the developers have increased the number of units from 18 to 20, and decided to build a one-story, mostly glass addition on top of the existing building. They are working with Stoiber & Associates architectural firm on the design.

There will be 15 two-bedrooms and five one-bedroom units, with an average unit size of 750 square feet, and all of the ground floor units will have access to outdoor space. Madison Investments is the firm behind the popular condo conversion 1020 Monroe, which sits above the relatively new 24-hour restaurant-bar-cafe The Coupe on 11th Street.
Construction is set to begin in August, and should take 10 months. Urban Pace will be handling sales.
