In this week’s edition of Best New Listings, we look at a two-bedroom in the Lincoln Condominiums, a three-bedroom Chevy Chase rancher, and a LeDroit Park row house with square footage to spare.

At the Lincoln on the U Street Corridor

This two-bedroom, two-bath condo is located in the Lincoln Condominiums, a 176-unit building that spans an entire block north of U Street and east of 12th.    The Ledroit home is overpriced! There are two homes on the market near it that are way better and priced lower. 1914 3rd St NW and 321 T St Nw Washington Dc# 20001. Both of these have better kitchens and layout; why would you want to pay $875k for a “window” that faces a brick wall?

   Agreed re: overpriced.  However, of the two homes StringsAttached identified, one is a short sale (god only knows what price the bank will accept if it ever comes around to reviewing any offer on the property) and the other is under contract.  Just saying….

   Also, we went to see this house.  Though not my cup of tea, it is unique… And the owner has a lot of pride in the home.  That may explain some of the pricing decision.  Of course, I’m not paying $875K for the house.
