The Price to Live in One of San Fran's More Upscale Neighborhoods Revealed
Last Friday, we asked readers to guess the price of a three-bedroom flat in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. Before we give you a brief description and reveal the actual price, we have a small apology to make. While this property looks like it could be in Pacific Heights, it is probably more accurate to say that it lies in the Jordan Park or Lake neighborhood adjacent to Pacific Heights. That small error on our part should not have much bearing on your guess, though, as these neighborhoods are also upscale by San Francisco standards. Here is a brief description of the property for those that missed the post.
“The flat measures out at about 1,350 square feet and has been completely remodeled. There is a very bright living room with a set of bay windows, as well as a dining room with built-ins and three good-sized bedrooms. The property has a small yard and a deck large enough for a table and a couple chairs. There is a parking space for the unit in the complex garage as well as additional storage space.”
Take a look:
So how much would you have to plunk down for this lovely apartment? (Keep in mind that, despite its location, we noted last week that this property did not have the hefty price tag of most homes in this neighborhood.) The price: $665,000. Here is the listing.
The guesses ranged from a low of $499,990 to a high of $1.725 million. Congratulations to frequent participant Lauren who came closest with her guess of $675,000.
Tune back in with us in a week and a half for another property price guessing game. We promise to identify the neighborhood correctly next time.
