Sponsored: The Secret of Logan Circle's Top Agent? Community Involvement
If you ask Lindsay Reishman where his team’s success in the Logan and Dupont Circle neighborhoods comes from his answer is fairly simple. The founder of Lindsay Reishman Real Estate, who has listed and sold more homes in Logan Circle this year than any agent, says it starts with community involvement.

“I live at 17th and P, work at 15th and P, and my team regularly hosts movies and a kid’s soccer clinic in Stead Park during the summer,” he said. “We’re completely immersed in the community.”
Reishman believes that this type of community involvement is what separates his team from some of the larger brick and mortar and online brokerages. He notes that his knowledge of the community allows him to find out about listings before they come to the market, pointing to a house his team recently sold off-market at 13th and T Street.
“I knew some buyers looking for a house just like the one owned by someone in my neighbor’s book group.”
This local intelligence not only translates to an “inside out” knowledge of the area housing inventory, but also provides intangibles that only agents with local connections can bring to their clients.
“Not only can my team contact the owners of properties not on the market that fit our buyers’ criteria to see if they’d be interested in selling,” Reishman said. “But we also work with developers in the area, so I know the boutique condo projects that are being built, but not yet advertised for sale.”
Reishman’s reputation in the neighborhood as a competent and professional agent also extends to the care with which he lists properties.
“When we list a property it is always staged to sell, complete with top-notch marketing materials and a strong internet presence,” he explained. “Agents know that our listings will be priced correctly and that the buying transaction will go smoothly. This approach has led to sellers wanting to list with us and agents wanting to work with us.”
