For $1.5 Million, Own JFK’s First DC Home

by Mark Wellborn

This week’s “If I Had $1.5 Million” listing is a special one: It is the first home that John F. Kennedy lived in when he moved to DC. Kennedy bought the three-bedroom Georgetown home in 1946 when he moved to DC as a Massachusetts congressman (and bachelor). (He went on to live in four other houses in the city before becoming president.)

The home has a renovated kitchen with a breakfast room, a large formal dining room with French doors that open to a two-tiered back patio and a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Who knows, you could have quite the political career if you purchase this property. More details and photos below.
