Developer Revises Plans For Residential Project at One of the Highest Points in Columbia Heights
Aria Development Group has revised its plans for a large residential project at one of the highest points in Columbia Heights.
Original plans for the development, which would be located at 1309-1315 Clifton Street NW (map), called for up to 170 residences, but that number has now been reduced to 155 to 159 units, according to recently filed zoning documents. The reduction in units is accompanied by the addition of a handful of larger, three-bedroom apartments.
The developer has also increased the number of parking spaces for the development from 36 to 45 spaces.
The project, designed by Cunningham|Quill Architects, also includes bicycle parking and electric car charging stations. It will go back before the Zoning Commission in December.
