DCmud: Boutique Condos Coming to Dupont Circle
Rendering of 1737 Connecticut Avenue
Good news is coming for prospective condo buyers in the Dupont Circle area who have been frustrated by a lack of inventory. The only problem is that the “good news” won’t be arriving until 2011.
DCmud is reporting that four high-end loft condos will be built at 1737 Connecticut Avenue NW (just below S Street) with a completion date of around Spring 2011. Not much detail was provided about the condos other than a square footage estimate of 1,800 for each unit.
Long-time Dupont residents will recognize this address as the former home of Italian restaurant Anna Maria’s. DCmud reports that a new restaurant will be coming into the first two floors, and the condos will be on the top four floors. FormDesign group bought the building and will be doing the design.
