Atlantic Plumbing’s Grand Opening: Designer Units & Cocktails
Anyone who has spent time at the north end of Shaw recently will have noticed a pair of brand new industrial-inspired buildings. That property, collectively called Atlantic Plumbing, consists of two buildings—a rental and a condominium—by renowned NYC-based Morris Adjmi Architects.
This Thursday, Atlantic Plumbing celebrates the grand opening of the property’s 62-unit condominium, 2030 8th Street, which is currently more than fifty percent sold.
Developers The JBG Companies and Walton Street Capital will kick off the opening with a cocktail reception at Atlantic Plumbing from 7:00pm – 9:00pm (click here to RSVP), as well as with the unveiling of the property's sprawling rooftop and three designer model units, outfitted by Room & Board and P Four. A fully furnished turnkey residence will also debut during the event.
Located at 2030 8th Street NW (map), the mixed-use residential and retail project offers dramatic walls of windows and panoramic views of the city. Building amenities include a full-service concierge, public and private rooftop terraces, a fitness center, resident lounge and two ground floor restaurants.
The building features one- and two-bedroom residences with over nine-foot ceilings, and an interior design that pays homage to the original Atlantic Plumbing Supply warehouse. Interior finishes are contemporary and incorporate natural-finished wood floors, custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Bathrooms are well appointed with floating vanities, floor-to-ceiling porcelain tile surrounds and full-width mirrors. Units at 2030 8th Street have been sold with prices ranging from the upper $300s to $1.9 million.
Residences at 2030 8th Street are being sold by McWilliams|Ballard; consultations are scheduled by appointment at Sales@2030AP.com or 202-792-8880. For more information on the Atlantic Plumbing mixed-use residential and retail development, please visit the property's website, or on Facebook and Twitter.
