Condos at The Wharf Join The $1,000 Per Foot Club
VIO at The Wharf
There are only a handful of areas in DC, specifically a handful of buildings, that can boast sales prices that exceed $1,000 per square foot. Those developments are located where one might expect, in neighborhoods like Georgetown, West End and in the highest-end buildings in Logan Circle.
Now, The Wharf can boast inclusion in this group.

UrbanTurf has learned that a limited release of residences at VIO, a new 12-story, 112-unit condo project being developed on Parcel 4B at The Wharf, has found buyers that are willing to pay above $1,000 per square foot.

“We’ve offered 25 residences to the market, and they sold out immediately,” a Wharf spokesperson told UrbanTurf. “The offering included a variety of units with the average unit price exceeding $1,000 per square foot. Some of the three-bedroom units facing the water fetched higher prices.”
Designed by Handel Architects and WDG Architects, VIO has a number of high-end features including concierge services, water views, a gym with a yoga studio and a rooftop saltwater infinity pool. Select condos will have private elevators that include access to the restaurants, bars, cafes and retail on the Wharf promenade.
